LITA has diverse programs but our fastest growing is Music and Art Awakenings. Volunteers tend to be high school and college students  some of whom research and fill audio devices with individual play lists for seniors in nursing care. Some launch donation drives for audio devices, mp3 players and iPods and spread word about the program. Programmer and iPod tech coach Pasha (upper left) also fit his grandmother Mahin ( living at local care center since her stroke and Alzheimers) with headphones to listen to music from her girlhood.  Musicians, visual artists, dancers, quartets trios, rock bands and choirs all participate year round Music and Art Awakenings at Special Events and Holiday Parties.
